He said, “They were concealed inside tomato cans, baby diapers, foodstuffs  and body lotion containers as well as by ingestion. The cocaine (intercepted) weighed 15.58kg; heroin weighed 14.72kg; cannabis sativa weighed 54.14kg; methamphetamine weighed 34.24kg and ephedrine weighed 28.14kg.”
According to him, airlines can help in the fight against drug trafficking by deploying their  senior officials to supervise luggage tagging. Ahmadu said, “Some cartels connive with unscrupulous airline and ground handling employees to plant drugs in passengers’ luggage.”
