Nigeria is currently ranked the second most affected COVID-19 country in Africa after South Africa according to the latest updates from Johns Hopkins University & Medicine Coronavirus Resource Centre. COVID-19: PTF May Recommend Another lockdown-Mustapha

Unless compliance level improves in the next two weeks, The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 said Monday that it may recommend another total lockdown to avert explosion of cases across the country. Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation and PTF chairman who gave the warning at the daily briefing of the task force also lamented the increasing rate of COVID-19 cases among people in government, saying it was directly impacting on governance and security in the country.
